Meet Dr. Charles P. Tozzer

You can rest assured you're in good hands with a dentist who teaches other dental professionals. Dr. Charles Tozzer is an instructor at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, and he has also taught at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. He has advised the American Dental Association on the creation of dental software, consulted on the development of educational materials, and lectured nationally and internationally on cosmetic dentistry.

His sedation expertise is so well regarded that he teaches sedation safety at USC's dental school and has been selected by the State of California to help ensure other dental professionals follow sedation safety regulations.

“The most rewarding part for me is the contact and working with patients. I really enjoy when we help patients overcome fears and turn them into happy patients. We work with a lot of patients that have had bad experiences in the past, which is unfortunate, but we work to become the good experience they have.”

Giving back

Dr. Tozzer founded Dental Care for Children, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free dental care for underserved children. A member of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, he has received an honorary Paul Harris Fellow Award from the Irvine Rotary Club and recognition from the cities of Huntington Beach and Irvine.
